Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for what you can and can't do on XENON Cloud's Minecraft and VPS hosting infrastructure. Written to be fair to normal servers and firm on genuine abuse.

📅 Last updated: August 13, 2026 🌐 xenoncloud.fun 📍 India

This policy exists to keep shared infrastructure safe and stable — not to restrict how you run a normal Minecraft server or personal VPS project. Most customers will never come close to breaching it.

01Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using XENON Cloud's Minecraft hosting and VPS hosting services. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations can result in warnings, suspension, or termination as described in Section 14.

02Who This Applies To

This policy applies to you, anyone you allow to access your Minecraft server or VPS, and anything running on infrastructure provisioned under your account, whether or not you personally performed the action.

03Illegal Activity & Serious Harm

You may not use our services for any activity that is illegal under applicable law, or that causes serious harm to XENON Cloud, other customers, or third parties. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — reported immediately to relevant authorities where required by law;
  • Terrorist or violent extremist content, or activity that supports such groups;
  • Any other content or activity that is illegal in the jurisdictions relevant to the service.

Violations in this category result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

04Network & Infrastructure Abuse

You may not use our network or infrastructure to:

  • Launch or participate in DDoS attacks or other denial-of-service attacks against any target;
  • Perform unauthorized network scanning, penetration testing, or intrusion attempts against systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other customers' servers, our infrastructure, or third-party systems ("hacking");
  • Abuse shared network resources in a way that degrades service for other customers.

05Malicious Software & Security Threats

You may not create, host, distribute, or command-and-control malware, viruses, ransomware, botnets, or similar malicious software using our services. You may not use our infrastructure to host phishing pages or content designed to impersonate another person, brand, or organization to deceive users.

06Fraud, Scams & Credential Theft

You may not use our services to run scams, fraudulent schemes, fake giveaways, payment fraud, or to collect, store, or distribute stolen credentials, credit card data, or other sensitive personal information without authorization.

07Spam & Unsolicited Messaging

You may not use our services to send mass unsolicited messages, including email spam, Discord self-bots or mass-DM tools, or automated spam directed at other platforms.

08Cryptocurrency Mining

Cryptocurrency mining is not permitted on XENON Cloud's Minecraft hosting or VPS hosting plans. Mining activity places sustained, disproportionate load on shared hardware and is treated as a resource abuse violation, whether run directly or through a hidden/background process.

10Account Sharing & Access

You are responsible for anyone you give access to your server, panel, or VPS. If your server is compromised, taken over, or used by someone else to breach this policy, action may still be taken against your account. Please secure your credentials and rotate them if you suspect a compromise, and report it to us through a Discord ticket.

11Resource Abuse

You may not run tasks unrelated to your plan's intended use that consistently consume disproportionate CPU, RAM, disk I/O, or bandwidth in a way that affects other customers on shared infrastructure, including using a small plan to run workloads it was not designed for (such as sustained rendering farms, unrelated background services, or mining as described above). Attempts to bypass resource limits, quotas, or restrictions set on your plan are also prohibited.

Use of proxies or VPNs to access your own account or panel is generally fine; using proxy/VPN infrastructure hosted on our servers to mask abusive traffic directed at third parties is not.

12Normal Minecraft Servers Are Welcome

This policy is not meant to restrict normal gameplay. Survival worlds, modpacks, minigame networks, community servers, plugin development, and typical VPS projects are all welcome and fully within the spirit of acceptable use.

13Reporting Abuse

If you believe a XENON Cloud-hosted server or VPS is being used to violate this policy, please open a Discord ticket with as much detail as possible, including relevant IP addresses, timestamps, and evidence. We investigate credible abuse reports and take action where appropriate.

14Enforcement & Investigations

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP, which can include reviewing relevant logs and server activity necessary to assess the report. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, temporarily suspend the affected service, or terminate it entirely, in accordance with Section 11 of our Terms of Service. Severe violations (such as those described in Section 3) may result in immediate termination without a prior warning.

15Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as new risks or use cases emerge. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

16Contact

Questions about this policy, or reports of suspected abuse, should be sent through a Discord ticket. We do not currently offer support through email.
